EXMOUTH TO BEASLEY RIVER
Before getting on the road for the day the boys wanted to spend their pocket money they had earnt from helping with dishes and dry nappies during the night. 🙌 They spotted a marine image slider from the info center opposite the caravan park. This was to provide some entertainment for the drive today.
Once we were on the road we changed our plans slightly to give us more time exploring Karajini National Park. We were to drive over 5 hours today and the boys traveled really well. It was 3 hours before a toilet stop was request, a small miracle. Then another one a bit further along. As parents we were learning what was working as well 😜 (no juice boxes).
We did some exercises around the car in a pull over and as it was getting on in the day we took some more time to build a rock monument to GPa and Marty looked forward to seeing how much it would grow before we came back next time.
We arrived at our 24hour so over and it was full but some self declared 'old farts' invited us to park up behind their van for the night.
Claire cooked up the best Spag Bol. We couldn't figure out whether it was the quality hollow spaghetti, or the four bean mix, or if it was just that we were all hungry, but it was good none the less.
