Another priceless sunrise this morning! To start us off Claire had a bit of a drive, she needed a break from the kids, more wet beds trying to wash sheets the bush way and pack camp was getting to be a bit ... frustrating!
Daddy hands a home beautiful magazine over to the back seat and that buys him 20min!! I think he should be on that job more often! 😂
Arriving at the Atherton Tablelands it reminds us a lot of the territory. I can see why Ali & Adrian were looking at buying here.
We pulled in at Innot hot springs, a natural thermal spring bubbling out of the creek right next to the highway! Some of the pools were so hot you couldn't even go in them! 70+ degrees! The sand was scorching to walk on. We chose an area not to hot, sat in the water and enjoyed the bath because we knew we wouldn't get one tonight.
Tonight's camp was a station called Woodleigh. Not far out of Innot Hot Springs. We arrived at the farm, watched to Kelpies rounding up the goats and were assigned our camp, right on the river. A beautiful spot with some grass and all to ourselves!
We cooked up dinner, enjoyed the fire 🔥 and ice cream and the sound of barking freshwater crocodiles 🐊
