Day 23 - Le Grand Sunrises, Beach Riding and Leftovers

LUCKY BAY (CAPE LE GRAND) TO BREMER BAY

Clint decided he would slip in a walk to Frenchman Peak and the only time to get it in was going to be before the kids were up. So up at 5AM Clint begun a hike in the dark.

Sunrise begin at 6:26AM (click for time-lapse) and Boi was it spectacular.

Once the sun had risen it allowed some light to explore the amazing peak that had caves and

gardens scattered all over.

One amazing hike back down and a peak conquered it was time to get packed up and on the road as we had almost 5 hours of driving to get to Bremer Bay.

As we got in the car and said goodbye to Lucky Bay we all felt like we were leaving something very special behind. This place leaves you wanting more and we would love to have spent more time here. 

The boys were amazing and bar a number of wee stops, including one during a roadworks hold up, we only had the one break half way for a quick play and stretch of the legs.

We made it to Bremer Bay with time to unpack and jump on our bikes down to the local beach where is was more sandcastles and beach play before getting cleaned up for leftovers dinner and bed.
