We were so grateful to be staying at the Chapman's who had given up their room to accommodate us. Which was so generous given they have had such a growing family since we visited then in Perth 10 years ago, now they are married with 5 children. While we were there during the daytime it was busy with 8 active children but Jarrad and Hayley were well equipped with an array of activities to keep them having fun.
Some of the highlights included:
• Roast dinner the first night.
• Balloon rockets.
• Playing at the Train Park.
• Curry night with the Pearces and s'mores over the bon fire.
• Craft time.
• meandering through the Chapman's bush block and fruit and veggie garden.
• Mundering Creek Park
• Clint talking apples with Jarrad after the Friday night footy.
Both us and the boys have had buckets of fun and found it hard to leave. On our last morning Hayley cooked up the biggest breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, spinach and pancakes with all the trimmings. We all had full tummys ready to set out on the next leg of our adventure.
