Day 31-37 Perth with the Pearces

PERTH WITH THE PEARCES
We were so grateful for a night sleep in a comfy bed in a house!
Judd said when he woke in the morning "It's so nice to feel warm when you wake up."
Claire noticed the strange feeling of being 'insulated' with walls, after being in a tent for so long it's amazing how much more you appreciate the things we often take for granted.

Clint had finally settled on a hat and was now onto his 3rd Akubra for the duration of the trip so far after the previous 2 didn't fit correctly. After finally finding the hat that fits he sold the others at a small profit whilst in Perth. Justin thought he should go into hat sales 😂.

Some highlights of our time with the Pearces:
•  Hillary's boat Harbour & surrounding beaches
•  Aunty Mel reading her recently published book "No, Never" to us.
•  park visits- Rotary park, Neil Hawkins park, Kings Park, Dinosaur park (Kingsley), Bike Park (Kingsley), Fremantle foreshore
•  Catching up with some friends from Darwin days, Kristen Grove Ne.Mills & one of her son's.
•  Claire & Mel date to Wanaroo Botanic and mini golf.
•  Dinner with Erin & Pete & Dianne & Mel at Hillary's
•  Playing board games with Erin, Dianne, Mel, Justin.
•  Walking Sunny the dog & playing with her in the house, her favourite game is teaddy chase. With her headless teaddy!
•  Walks with Aunty Mel & Sunny
•  Watching our favourite Futsal player, Justin Pearce (JP) dominate in the home and away season finale.
•  Trip to Fremantle and the lovely market. With delicious doughnuts the size of your head!!
•  Church with the Pearce crew
•  Erin's baby shower #2.0
•  Fishing with Aunty Mel at the Fish & Lilly farm for some Koy fish for her pond. We were even allowed to choose one each & name them!
•  The many beautiful moments living with another family that love your children like their own.
•  Every night was a late night with lots of laughs, games, online computer games, chatting, drinking beer, wine, tea & more tea & catching up on life.
It has been a really special week with these guys, we wish they didn't live so far away!! But it is good to have such amazing people to stay with when you do come to the other side of the country. We love them to pieces & are so grateful for the time we have shared together.
