Day 21 - Wet Weather, Whistling Birds and White Sands

ESPERANCE TO LUCKY BAY
This morning was a very wet morning. We had prepared and packed up most of the trailer late the night before as we knew the weather was coming. We had breakfast in the camp kitchen to get out of the rain. A butcher bird few in too to dry off and had a chat with Clint as they whistled back and forth. Amongst the pack up, Judd had a video call back to his classmates and teacher which he was super excited for! He is missing his friends.

We popped into the local public library to get out of the weather and enjoyed some of the selection of kids books then grabbed some hot chips to last our journey to Lucky Bay.
We set up camp and then took the bikes off to explore the highly renouned Lucky Bay. The sand was squeaky and white and was so fine it felt like snow powder in your hands. We meet some of the friendly kangaroos in the bush on the way back to the camper trailer.
It was butter chicken for dinner and an early night for all.
