Day 3 Sandy trips, Rolly Polly and Caves

STONY RISE
Today started much more like we imagined our adventure to be like. Slow morning with a cooked breakfast, time for some bush play then a adventure out on the beach and caves.

The sounds of birds in the bush next to our camp whistling while the boys played with with shells and bugs and a hot porraige with baked beans on toast was being cooked.
Infact, it was so pleasent we decided to book an extra night. So we could enjoy to day checking out Robe.
Time for a fun activity, we headed down the sandy road towards the beach. Sidetracked, Clint turned off to a 4WD track that read 'Driving not recommended beyond this point' this turned out to be a highlight of the day, there were some great tracks, sand dunes for 'Rolly Pollys' and even came across an amazing sand stone cave.
The boys played escape the waves for a while before a big wave came in and drenched then both, fun time was over, back to camp in wet cold clothes.

Robe isn't famous for robes but is sure does have nice beaches. The boys spent the afternoon playing on the playground and down at the beach running from waves and throwing seaweed back out to sea.
Back to camp for a defrosted Thai Red Curry sweet potato soup (thanks Lorraine for the recipe🙂)
