It has been a mammoth effort over the last 4 weeks organising leave, resigning from your work, arranging education enrolment and teaching resources for Judd, completely packing your home up. But it is starting to become real as we now start packing things we will need aside for the car and trailer.
It is also emotionally quite draining as we come to terms with the fact that our home and all it's creature comforts will be left here as we travel off into the sunset in just 8 days time. We also just had a really good catch up with some of our oldest and closest friends last night as they shared in the excitement with us and said goodbye.
We have an amazing couple looking after our home while we are away. Brendan and Tiana are going to stay here and keep and eye on things including our 5 chickens. Their lease just came up so it has worked out good timing for everyone.
