We weren't sure if we were going to stay on for an extra day, but after the party that was raging last night and the fact that the kids new friends were heading off we decided to move on too.
It was a late start packing up and wasn't until 11AM until we were packed up and ready to leave. The power was out so their fuel Bowser wasn't operating. After asking around it was confirmed the nearest town (Gregory) had run out of diesel and we again we found ourselves running the fuel gauntlet. We only had to get 200kms to Four Ways and had enough to travel about 230kms. A kind traveller from Canberra sold us half his Jerry to give us a good buffer.
Four Ways was a well kept little roadhouse and the management and grounds were really friendly.
We met the local roadhouse dog and played on the dedicated patch of grass complete with swing and basic toys, winning!
After weeks living out of our trailer we treated ourselves to a roadhouse meal, parma and chips, which was a taste of heaven. Although it was like our kids had completely forgotten what it was like to eat nicely at a table 😂 but was a welcome nicety
We then met back up with our friends from 'thenoiseyvan' and shared a drink and had a play before bed. The kids hit it off and it was nice to have friends to share in the expirience.
