MAGUK TO COOINDA
We enjoyed our camp at Maguk. The boys spent the morning there while we packed up finding green any nests and picking the bums of the ants and eating them as they make ready bush treats. Micah copying everything was getting into it too but would often find a colony of any telling up his legs and get upset.
It was only a short drive into Cooinda where were would planned to stay. We were however awaiting the latest NT Covid need as they were going to announce whether the restrictions would be extended or end. While we were eagerly listening to the news the boys blissfully unaware played in the sprinklers. It was a welcome reminder that we would be fine whatever happened and these boys where now very capable of adapting to whatever the situation may be. They did end the lockdown thankfully, which did mean we could continue with our Plan C.
Micah had a must sleep to the sound of children cracking their newly purchased whips thanks to the travelling whip cracking entertainer Nathan Griggs who was in town.
