Unsure weather we should bite the bullet and cross the NT border we packed up our camp at our secluded camp at Lake Argle. We instead opted to first head back into Kununarra to restock and replace our trailer light adapter that had talked lose on the last part of the Gibb and been destroyed.
While we were in the toy store getting a substitute birthday present for Micah because it had been posted to Darwin Judd's baby tooth, which had been threatening to fall out for the past month finally came out, Hooray! It was an exciting moment, so we rang grandparents to share in the excitement.
Restocked and ready we made the NT border crossing uneventfully, but expecting a platoon of border police to swoop down on us and question our every planned movement. That was the first hurdled passed but there was still a few things hanging in the air such as would the lockdown be extended; would we see Ali and Adrian; would the other state close to NT and could we get stuck here.
The kids were sending our anxiety and were acting up in the car. We called and early lunch break on the side of the road before things for too out of hand.
We didn't know where we were going to stop tonight and there didn't seem many very good options, we didn't even know how much further the kids would cope in the car today. There was a few unknowns.
We stretched the kids to the better campsite option at Limestone Creek and set up camp and made camp fire for middle, even though it was mid 30's and cooked our dinner on it and roasted marshmallows before bed. It was a nice end to a day of unknowns.
