It was a beautiful sunrise waking up early Travelling along back down the road from Jim Jim camp ground something didn't feel right. The car was bouncing around. Clint soon discovered that the rest suspension strut disconnected and was hanging lose. We limped the car into Jabiru where there was a mechanic oblivious to the fact that it was a Sunday and nothing was open. After a few calls to Barry who is a family friend and expert with suspension, Clint was under the car grinding, hammering, and securing back on the suspension with some grunt straps, this was hopefully going to get us back to Darwin.
We were back on the road after a couple hours and celebrated by checking out the rock art at Nourlangie.
It was amazing location and was cool to see especially the older boys take an appreciation to the significance of the aboriginal culture.
We does the trailer and went into the crossing which is known for the good fishing as the tide comes in causing a del of fish during up the river. Oxide the crocodiles have leant this and eagerly await the daily phenomena. Therefore is a great spot to sit back and watch some good fishing a croc spotting. We say and watched for a couple hours, but then had to shoot off to our next location.
We rushed to the Ubirr risk where one of the world's best sunset locations is located find in movies like Crocodile Dundee. We made it just in time after running the 1km journey it to the rock with kids in toe. We sat and enjoyed our dessert that traveled reasonably well, rice cream and plums and watched as the sunset changed the sky every colour we have ever seen.
